Judy Stephens is a native Houstonian with a Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Masters from Sam Houston State University. She worked for thirteen years in the Aldine Independent School District as a classroom teacher for learning-disabled children and as a Diagnostician. That's where she polished her listening skills!

Judy and George have been married since 1978 (which is the year their real estate company was born) and they have three grown children. George is Broker of the company and has a high real estate profile of his own. His lengthy resume includes acting as Chairman of the Board for the Houston Association of Realtors. Most recently the Texas Association of Realtors installed him as Chairman of the Board. Judy and all the TeamJudy members are fortunate to have the rock-solid security of a resource like George.

When buying a home, it is essential to cooperate as closely as possible with your real estate agent. This can be challenging, especially if your agent asks you to do some things that you don't particularly want to do to in order to get you moved into your new home as quickly as possible.

When real estate agents advise you regarding ways to make the transaction work, they are acting as part coach and part business consultant.
